With the constant race against time, a recruiter is always in a flux of whether to go for the quality of hire or ensure all the open positions are closed in time. It’s also pretty much established that it’s almost an impossible task to ensure both quality & quantity of hiring together. What would you want to do?
It is true that business puts pressure on the talent acquisition team to close positions. But in the midst of all the pressure, Quality of hire should ideally be top notch priority. Quality of hire benefits the organisation both in the short and long term.
